Coexistence phase of CE and UKCA markings extended until 30/06/2025

In an official communication dated 09/12/2022, the UK government has informed that the recognition of CE marking for construction products is now valid until 30/06/2025.
Due to the extension of the deadline, European manufacturers of construction products now have an additional 2.5 years to prepare for the UKCA marking, which will be mandatory as of 01/07/2025. Until then, CE and UKCA marking for construction products will be equally recognized in the UK in accordance with the EU CPR.
As a European Notified Body, EPH has so far concluded cooperation agreements with three British conformity assessment bodies for the UKCA marking of various construction products.
For flooring according to EN 14041/ EN 14342 and EN 14904 EPH cooperates with SATRA. For structural timber according to EN 14081-1 and wood-based panels according to EN 13986, BBA is EPH's partner. For HPL according to EN 438-7 and decorative wall coverings according to EN 15102 BTTG could be acquired as partner.
